*About Workshops*
Welcome!
So glad you are joining us!
A few details to understand prior to attending a workshop.
First , I want everyone to have fun and learn.
There is a lot of information provided in each workshop.
For some it can be slightly overwhelming.
No worries!
Some people need step by step help while others are able to move along a little bit quicker. All are welcome!
You will be provided with a cd and handout for each Workshop. This will go through step by step all covered material as well as have all supplies needed. We will work together on your laptop while being able to view steps on a large screen, step by step.
*For the Beginning Workshops, no prior experience is needed.*
*For all other workshops, a BASIC knowledge of how to open a new document, knowing your Tool Bar, creating new layers, text options etc. are needed. If you are not sure about these things, take the Beginner Workshop before moving forward.
I WANT YOU TO HAVE A GOOD TIME!
I DO NOT WANT YOU TO HAVE A BAD EXPERIENCE!
You must bring a laptop (or share with a friend) to participate.
We will be using Adobe Photoshop Elements 6.0 - 8.0 for all workshops. A free 30 day download is available at adobe.com to try out . Please try to have all software loaded prior to class. I do have the trial version (on cd )onhand as well if you have any problems downloading yourselves.
If possible, bring some photos. You can have them on a cd, hard drive, flashdrive, whatever works for you! If you forget, I will provide sample photos for you.

Why digital scrapbooking? It's quick, it's green and you can use supplies over and over again. Still love the feel of paper? What will you do with the piles of paper you already own? Go Hybrid! Learn to create your own personalized digital items, print them and use them with your traditional scrapbook supplies.

*Basic Photo Editing*
In this workshop you will learn basic photo editing techniques using Adobe PS Elements . Nearly everyone has a digital camera and views their photos on their PC. Learn some quick and easy tips and tricks to prepare your photos for printing or for Digital Scrapbooking. A handout and CD will be included to take home and put your new skills into action.
We will learn how to do use many Quick Fix features in PSE,
Basic Color Correction , Lighting Correction, how to remove unwanted objects in a photo, resolution and sizing photos, removing red eye, soften photos and more.
No digital experience needed.
Fun for everyone. Class is about 1+ hour.

*Digital Scrapbooking
The Beginning*
Interested in Digi Scrapping but have no idea where to start? Downloaded some freebies but have no idea what to do with them?
This workshop is for you! Bring your laptop and we will explore the Digital
Scrapbook world! This is a 2 hour beginner class using Adobe PhotoShop Elements. In this workshop you will learn basic skills including:
*Opening photos and files in PSE (PHOTOSHOP ELEMENTS)
*Creating a new blank file for a layout
*Crop and add photos
*Creating titles and journaling
*Basic Brush Work
*Add fun embellishments to your page
*Lots more!!
Along with these newly learned skills, you will leave with 2 completed digital
scrapbook pages! All digital and instructional supplies will be provided.

Like to scrapbook but have no time? Need to get it DONE?
Quick Pages/Speed Pages might be your answer. This workshop gives you the "hands on" tips and tricks to pre-done digital scrapbook pages. Take these quick pages and make them your own with fun details .Your friends and family will be oohhhing and aahhhing at your beautiful creations.
6 completed pages. All supplies included. CD and Detailed instructions

*Rockin Templates 101*
New for 2010! Using templates is a great way to jump start your scrapbooking. Just like with paper scrapbooking, templates provide you with a road map to create cool and interesting pages. The really fun difference in digital scrapbooking is that the page and layers are all measured for you. If you can drag and drop, you can digi scrap!
This class will complete 2 pages and you will take home 4 other templates to create your own masterpieces. Basic PSE skills or the Beginning Digital Scrapbooking workshop are helpful for this workshop.

*Fun with Brushes*
Enter the world of digital brushes! Brushes are like rubber stamps but digital. They are a wonderful way to embellish your layouts and photos, giving them a fun graphic feel. This is a great workshop for Hybrid scrapbookers as well as digi scrapbookers.
